Being the reincarnation of the archangel Raguel, Shen has a large sense of harmony and redemption. This is prevalent in his job as a defense attorney, picking cases he knows for certain he will be able to win. He believes everyone is able to be redeemed in their own way, however as each way varies so does his means of said redemption. Shen is not to be taken lightly; as much as he is open to vindication, he is not a push over and will drop anyone that is seemingly uncooperative. He believes those who are unwilling to accept his help are destined to be assisted by another.

He does his best not to get close to others, but when he does he's always checking in and worrying. Shen is not one to care about strangers, exceptions being in his place of work. Outside of being an attorney, he is quite silent and standoffish. He can even come off as quite rude and disrespectful, however it's simply a tactic to keep others away. After a tragic incident that took various limbs and skin, Shen is afraid to get close to anyone in fear for his life.

A coffee lover. If he's not drinking an iced caramel latte on the job, he'd have a nice glass of red wine or simply some hot chocolate with cream. He tries not to drink coffee as much since it can stain his teeth, but it's a nice drink to have while he's reading or reviewing a case.

Shen's house is huge, too big for one person. This, however, was not a house he picked nor bought. After his grandmother decided she was not fit to live on her own, she gave the large home to Shen in hopes it would be big enough for him and a significant other, maybe even a family. He has shown disinterest in such things, but how long will he be able to live like this? It's hard being alone. This home was built in Kagoshima, Japan, however he travels a lot due to his job and status. His main residence is in Kagoshima, but he has multiple places around the world for him given by family members.

Poetry is one of the attorney's favorite forms of literature. In his downtime, he can often be seen either writing his own or reading others. There's a beauty in discovering hidden meanings and little stories in between poems that he can't help but enjoy.

What says "romantic" more than a lovely candlelit dinner for two? As much as Shen would like to ask someone out, he gets tongue tied fairly easily. He takes pleasure in being asked to dinner more than asking others. It makes him feel special, like a first thought more than anything. He'll pay if asked.

In colder weather, Shen tends to lean towards turtlenecks and blazers the most. His suave appearance compliments such clothing, as it gives him a more professional and mature look. He tends to wear gloves and long sleeves as well to hide certain features around his arms and back.

In warm or intense heat, Shen can be seen wearing clothing that's a lot looser. He keeps his sophisticated appearance (and long sleeves), however his wardrobe isn't as skin tight or filled with darker colors during the seasons of spring and summer. He'd also wear these outfits in his home, the silk softly caressing his skin ever so gently.

There are markings on Shen's arms that cover the majority of his backside, his legs, all of his arms. He uses gloves and long sleeves to hide them, and custom made pieces of wardrobe to help him keep cool in the summer. This is also why Shen does not wear shorts in public.
